Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Abdel-Azim Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein, the SU vice-president for education and student affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mazin Jalal, the dean of the Faculty Arts, Community Students for Egypt organized a seminar entitled “Reduce the dollar bill by rationalizing electricity, water and energy consumption” at the Faculty of Arts. This seminar was attended by the leader of the SU Community Students for Egypt, Dr. Ahmed El-Desouky, the undersecretary of the faculty, staff members, and students from different university faculties.

Moreover, the seminar began with a welcome speech from the dean of the faculty, in which he appreciated the various activities carried out by the community of students for Egypt at the University. This seminar aimed at developing the awareness and common sense of our students, wishing everyone the best of these positive student activities.

Then, the symposium was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Sayed Kamel, the lecturer of the geography department, who noted the importance of rationalization in the use of water and energy to improve the living standards of individuals. As well, he focused on the role of individuals in achieving rationalization and explained the ways in which rationalization and the role of society in that. The symposium also addressed the dissemination of a culture of rationalization in general among the youth, which they are the assets of this country and building the future.
