In the presence of General Staff of War Tarek Hamid Al-Shazali, the Suez Governor, the bike marathon was launched this morning at Suez Promenade with the participation of the SU President, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, and several university students. General Ahmed Alexandrani, General Secretary of the Governorate, gentlemen of the House of Representatives and Senate, as well as people and executive leaders of the governorate, also participated.

Moreover, the SU President expressed his pleasure at participating in this important event, which commemorates an important and cherished memory in the hearts of all Egyptians and of the Suez people in particular, when our armed forces, together with the Heroes People of Resistance, were able to protect the valiant city from the brutal attack of the enemy forces, making one of the greatest patriotism and sacrifice.

Hnijal also noted that the University's participation in this event is part of cooperation with the governorate in various fields. It is also one of the axes of the University's community participation on various occasions. This event is one of the important activities that contribute to the physical construction of Egyptian human beings at different age stages.

Furthermore, the SU President stressed that the keenness of all officials and leaders to keep participating in such events reflects good meanings and adds positive values among citizens, the most important of which is the pride in the great victory that parents and grandparents have been able to achieve and emphasizes the cohesion of all citizens of the nation on various occasions.
