The SU Faculty of Medicine organizes the New Year`s orientation day in the presence of the SU President

In an authentic annual tradition, the SU Faculty of Medicine organized the orientation day of the New Year 2024/2025. Prof. Dr. Hnijal, the SU President, was keen to participate in the ceremony. It was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Duaa Mohamed Syed, Dean of the Faculty, Faculty Undersecretaries, Teaching Staff Members, Faculty Employees, and Students. 

The ceremony began with a word by the Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the SU President's visit. She expressed gratitude for his keenness to participate in the Faculty Orientation Day. She then referred to the vision of the faculty, which provides academic education at a distinct level to graduate competent doctors capable of participating in strengthening the health sector in Egypt. 

For his part, the SU President emphasized his pleasure to be at the Faculty of Medicine. He praised the efforts of all faculty community members' efforts to upgrade students' scientific and academic levels. He then spoke of the Egyptian Human Building Initiative “Bedaya”, under the auspices of the Egyptian President, bearing in mind the role of the Faculty of Medicine and its teaching staff members in implementing many of the initiative's ambitious activities. 

Moreover, Hnijal pointed out that Suez City is a distinct city, with a distinguished learning environment, and a great opportunity for excellence in the medical field, especially since the medical sector at the University provides multiple services to the people of Suez governorate and neighboring governorates within the framework of the community service provided by the University. He also stressed the need to root, and strengthen the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and the parents. 

Furthermore, the SU President spoke about the weapon of technology, stressing that it is the most important weapon of sophistication and progress in societies and urging students to work on scientific research because it is important to stimulate economic growth and raise awareness among members of society. 

Finally, His Excellency emphasized the readiness of outpatient clinics and the physical and human readiness to open the university hospital, which will be a significant addition in the medical sector in the governorate.
