SU President announces... Suez University makes remarkable progress in world rankings in The Times

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, announced that Suez University has made remarkable progress in the Times Higher Education world university ranking 2025 for universities, compared to the latest grading result, with the university at the 1001-1200 level representing a significant shift in the university's ranking.

Moreover, the SU President expressed his appreciation of the efforts of all teaching staff members of the University for their efforts in the field of academic work, teaching, and joint scientific research with international bodies and researchers, which reflected positively on the promotion of the University's position in this prestigious classification.

Furthermore, Hnijal thanked the President and members of the University's classification team for their efforts at various levels; to advance the University's classification into various evaluation criteria locally and internationally.

The Times 2025 rankings have rated 2092 universities from 115 countries around the world. The British Times' ranking of Higher Education institutions is based on the evaluation of the best international universities in 5 key areas: Teaching (learning environment), research (size or rate of productivity of research, research income, reputation), citations (impact of research), international standing (international students, international professors, international cooperation), industry application (transfer of knowledge). This is through 13 performance indicators associated with teaching, scientific research, knowledge transfer, and international questionnaires, which provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons among universities.
