This afternoon, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Research and Engineering Consultancy Center was chaired by SU President, Ashraf Hnijal, who began the meeting by welcoming the members of the Council and approving the minutes of the previous meeting. The Council then discussed the issues of assigning technical support and periodic supervision of the implementation of Suez Governorate projects entrusted to the Centre and issued by the Reconstruction Research and Studies Agency of the Ministry of Housing, Facilities, and Urban Communities.

The SU President stressed that cooperation between the University and the governorate is of great importance and is one of the most important elements of the University's mission to meet the needs of society to drive the locomotive of development and aspire to be a beacon of science, scientific research, and community participation.

The agenda also included a discussion of the topics of contracting with specialized consultants for their previous experiences in the work entrusted to them, as well as follow-up of construction works through the SU Faculty of Engineering teaching staff and associated staff.
