SU President opens a training course for imams of Suez Endowments

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, opened a training course this morning. As well, Imams of Suez Endowments were hosted by the SU Faculty of Arts. This course was attended by Shaikh Majed Radi, the undersecretary of the Minister of Awqaf in Suez, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abou El Fetouh Moustafa, the undersecretary of the Faculty of Arts.

Therefore, The SU President gave a speech welcoming the University's guests, stressing that the idea of sustainability in developing capacities and skills has become of the utmost importance for the various workers in the country. He also noted the important role played by the cleric in shaping the citizen's simple consciousness, where an individual's mind can be directed to moderate centrist thought human beings. In addition, he stressed the importance of confronting thought with thought so that man can act in a way that contributes to the building of his homeland.

In his speech, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Waqf thanked the SU President for his continued support, since this is not the first activity carried out by the University with the imams of Waqf, noting the importance of such exercises for the imams of Waqf.

Moreover, the opening ceremony began with the word of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abu al-Fattouh welcomed the SU president, stressing that the Faculty of Arts is a beacon of science and enlightened thought that always delights in its efforts to serve the community.

It is worth mentioning that the training lasts for three days and addresses subjects in psychology and sociology through several lectures and training such as "extremist thought from the point of view of psychology", the role of mosque imams in promoting the values of citizenship in society, positive and psychological guidance.
