Memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Commerce and the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate (Suez Branch)

This morning, the SU President, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal witnessed a signed memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Commerce and the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate (Suez Branch). Prof. Dr. Rania Shamaa, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, signed on behalf of the faculty. Eng/ Hafez Mohamed Awad, the president of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate in Suez, signed on behalf of the Syndicate.

Moreover, the SU President stated that this memorandum comes within the framework of the societal role played by Suez University and its constant desire to attract students in various postgraduate courses to contribute to the development of their professional aspects. Therefore, the SU Faculty of Commerce is keen to offer various study programs in line with the various specializations of the employees, whether through short-term training programs, professional master's programs, professional doctorates, or professional diplomas.

Hnijal explained that this memorandum is in line with Egypt's Vision 2030, which supports the operationalization of entrepreneurship, the culture of self-employment, the private sector, as well as effective participation between the private sector and the public sector.

For its part, the Dean of the faculty stated that this memorandum aims to provide the faculty with professional study programs for the staff of the engineers' syndicate, such as a professional master's degree, professional doctorate, and professional diploma. The most important specialties include business administration, human resources, supply and logistics management, hospital management, finance and investment management, accounting, and production management.

Shamaa noted that this agreement helps to improve professional competence, develop and improve practical and cognitive work skills related to the specific occupational area, as well as enhance career opportunities; It contributes to increasing access to prestigious jobs and providing promotion opportunities within the current work.
