Governor of South Sinai welcomes SU President

In his office, Eng/ Khaled Mubarak, the Governor of South Sinai, met this morning with Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President. It was attended by Dr. Inas Samir, the Deputy Governor, at the beginning of the meeting, the Governor welcomed the President of the University and expressed his pleasure at this visit and wished to strengthen cooperation between Suez University and the governorate of South Sinai. For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, congratulated the governor on the confidence of the political leadership in his person and entrusted his sovereignty with the responsibility of the governorate. The President wished the Governor and the governorate's task force success and progress.
During the meeting, the governor discussed the future vision for the development of South Sinai with the SU president considering the fruitful cooperation between Suez University and South Sinai Governorate. Hnijal reviewed the executive position of the Suez University branch in Aburdis and the achievements made on the ground as part of the Egyptian State's efforts to develop the Sinai Peninsula.
Furthermore, the SU President explained that concrete and building works had already been completed and work had begun on finishes for phase I faculties, which included faculties of "Science - Arts - Commerce - Education" as a first stage. He explained that the second phase of the university branch consists of the establishment of faculties of Languages and Translation, Engineering, Technology, Design and Arts, Computer and Artificial Intelligence, as well as buildings (auditoriums, university dormitories, university administration, Conference Room, and Library).
Moreover, the third phase comprises the scientific faculties (Fish Resources and Desert Agriculture and Nutrition). The Medical Sector includes faculties (Medicine - Dental - Physical Therapy - Pharmacy - Nursing - Veterinary Medicine) and a Medical Complex to serve the residents of South Sinai governorate.
As well, phase IV includes Sports City Buildings, Olympic Sports Complex including playgrounds, a covered lounge, a half-Olympic swimming pool to serve South Sinai governorates, and residential areas) outstanding housing + social housing.
In addition, the SU President also reviewed the efforts already undertaken by the Suez University in the community service sector, such as the awareness-raising medical caravans already carried out to Sinai. The University has also taken special facilities for the students of South Sinai governorate by opening postgraduate classes at the stage to alleviate the suffering of the students in the governorate; In addition to providing some grants to the children of the governorate by exempting from the tuition fees.
For his part, Mubarak stressed that the South Sinai Governorate looks forward to further cooperation with the University in various fields of development. Therefore, he expressed his great pleasure and strong willingness to cooperate with the University in providing all ways to start studying at the University branch in South Sinai.
