This morning, in his office, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, received General Staff of War Al-Husseini Farhat, Executive Director of the Lakes and Fish Resources Protection and Development Agency of the Egyptian Cabinet, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Osama Kaddour, Dean of the Faculty of Fish Resources. The SU President discussed the terms of the protocol to be signed between the University and the agency, and ways to enhance cooperation and exchange benefits between both sides.

Hnijal referred to the importance of coordination of Suez University with the LFRPDA, and Suez Governorate in the development of fisheries, as well as the training of specialized cadres and students, as a step towards implementing the ideas he adopted and announced by Major General Staff of War Tariq Al-Shazali, Suez Governor, during his last visit to Suez University last week.

Subsequently, the (LFRPDA) delegation visited the SU Faculty of Fish Resources, where they visited the faculty’s various laboratories. Al Husseini discussed the faculty's professors and associated staff in testing and using the faculty's possibilities to train fishermen on perfect fishing methods, use navigational devices, and deal with emergencies. He expressed his readiness to enter a strategic partnership with the University to solve the problems of fish production in Egypt. He expressed great admiration for the experience and potential of the leading faculty in this field in Egypt and the Middle East.
