General/ Abdulmajid Saqr, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense and War Production, witnessed the scientific day of the Military Technical College which included the conclusion of the 8th International Military Technical College Competition (General /Ibrahim Salim Award). This competition included an unmanned systems competition (terrestrial - aerial - marine) in its eighth edition as well as the satellite competition in its fourth edition, and the artificial intelligence and cybersecurity competitions in its second edition. In addition, the conclusion of the 8^th International Military Technical College Conference on Student Research and Innovation in bachelor’s degree. It was held in the presence of General Ahmed Khalifa, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several ministers, leaders of the main branches, commanders of the armed forces, military attachés, several presidents of universities, and public figures.

Therefore, the events began with the statement of Major General, Mu'taz Ibrahim Abu Al-Nur, the Director of the Military Technical College, during which he pointed out the concern of the General Command of the Armed Forces to support all various scientific activities from competitions, projects, and innovations to raise the level of science and create the right climate for scientific competition that coincides with the quantum leap in various scientific fields.

Moreover, a documentary film was shown. It tackled the outstanding scientific activities of the Military Technical College during the academic year 2023/2024. It was followed by the announcement of the results of the unmanned systems competition (terrestrial - aerial - marine), satellite competition, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity competitions, International Military Technical College Conference for Bachelor's Research and Innovation, qualification of teaching staff members who have (Ph.D. - Master) degrees and (Professor - Assistant Professor) titles for the academic year 2023/2024. Hence, the distinguished figures of the competitions and the scientific conference, and several distinguished teaching staff members from the graduate studies during the training year 2023/2024 were honored.

General Abdulmajid Saqr also went through the scientific exhibition and saw models of outstanding graduation projects for students at Military Technical College and Engineering faculties of Egyptian Universities as well as the research activity of teaching staff members. He also praised the outstanding level of various innovations and research activities presented that maximize the scientific utilization of accelerated scientific development in all modern sciences. He stressed the important role of scientific research in keeping abreast of technological development in all fields to achieve a positive role that contributes to the service and progress of Egypt.
