While Egypt celebrates police day, which coincides with the anniversary of the police response to the occupation forces in 1952 in Ismailia, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharkawy, this morning, participated in the Suez Security Directorate celebrations on Police Day. well-wishers were received by Major General Abdulrahman Haridi, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Suez Security, and several police commanders in the governorate. It was in the presence of Mr. Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy Governor, General- Staff of war, Abdelmadjid Saqr, Suez Governor, General- Staff of war, Sharif Jouda al-Arayishi, commander of the 3^rd Army Field, and a group of people and executive commanders in the governorate. The attendees laid wreaths at the police martyrs' memorial.

Al-Sharqawi stated that this anniversary of Egypt embodies one of the meanings of the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice by policemen, who work day and night in order for the simple citizen to feel the grace of security and for the entire Egyptian State to move forward in its ambitious steps towards construction and development.

SU President concluded his remarks by paying tribute and congratulations to the leaders of the Ministry of Interior, General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of the Interior, Associates of the Minister, Officers, Soldiers, and Individuals, stressed the unity of all to build the new Republic under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic.
