Higher Education:

The Supreme Council of Universities approves the research plans of the universities of the Canal and Sinai regions to meet the challenges of development.

Studies of Suez University are aimed at recycling the residue of the cement, iron, steel, and petroleum refining industries.

 

The Minister stressed the importance of implementing the Presidential Directive to support the process of linking the scientific research system and its specialized research centers with the university education sector and to provide all facilities; To prepare research and innovative studies to participate in the formulation of scientific solutions to the challenges facing Egyptian society and development projects in all fields.

The University's operational plan for scientific research in question dealt with the adoption by the projects of a set of research points covering three agreed areas, including:

Assessment of natural and human coastal geodetic hazards affecting the urban and agricultural space of Suez Governorate, recycling and use of cement, iron and steel waste, and petroleum refining in the construction and civil industries, recycling of fish waste, aquaculture, fish environment, fish fodder.

In the field of employment and youth employment, the business incubator of Suez University is also involved in identifying and marketing the most important micro-enterprises, training the youth for self-employment, and creating and operating a youth incubator in Suez Governorate.
