Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, SU president, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the SU Faculty of Engineering organized a field visit to “Siemens” German company headquarters in Ain Sokhna. As well, the visit was organized by Dr. Mohamed Aziz, the faculty undersecretary for education and student affairs, and Dr. Arabi Ibrahim, the coordinator of the students’ activities at the faculty.

Furthermore, this visit comes within the framework of providing opportunities for students to learn about the fields of work specialized in one of the giant companies in the field of industry, and to learn about the specialized training offered by the company to students and fresh graduates so that the student can be a strong competitor in the field of the labor market.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt's Siemens Energy Service Centre and the Egyptian-German Technical Training Academy in the Ayn Sokhna Economic Zone are the first of their kind in the region. It includes a repair center, an equipment center, and a spare parts warehouse. The center also includes the headquarters of the Egyptian-German Technical Training Academy, which is a developed technical and professional training center in the region.
