On behalf of His Excellency Mr. Abdelfattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian President, General Staff of War, Tariq al-Shazly, Suez Governor, celebrated the New Hijri Year. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, witnessed the ceremony held at Badr Mosque in Port Tawfik following the Sunset Prayer. It was attended by General Hisham Shendi, the Third Army Field Commander, Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy Governor, General Muhammad Mandor Deputy of General Husam Al-Din Al-Duh, Director of Suez Security, Mr. Khaled al-Saadawi, Secretary General of the Governorate, Sheikh Majid Radi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, several members of People and Executive Leadership of the governorate.

The celebration began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, Sheikh Majid Radi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of the Waqfs in Suez, delivered a speech through which he spoke about the lessons learned from the journey of Prophet Muhammed's migration, peace be upon him. Religious invocations followed it.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, expressed his pleasure on this fragrant occasion, noting that prophetic migration was a great event that changed history and affected the lives of all mankind. One of the most important lessons learned from this journey is planning, preparing well, considering reasons, trusting Allah, and sacrificing.

SU President stressed that the availability of these elements in any nation inevitably leads to success, progress, and homebuilding. He also congratulated the Governor and the attendees, wishing everyone continuous success and progress.
