Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, announced the entry of Suez University into the "News Best Global Universities" classification for the first time, which includes the evaluation of academic institutions in the United States of America and more than 100 countries around the world.

The SU President stated that the University's access to this global classification was based on several objective and codified indicators to assess the University's academic performance in scientific research and its regional and international reputation.

Hnijal explained that among these indicators, on which the university is evaluated are:

The reputation of scientific research globally - the reputation of scientific research regionally - the number of publications - the number of books - the effect of quotations - the total quotations - the number of publications of the highest citation - the proportion of publications of the highest citation - international cooperation - the number of research papers of the highest citation.

The SU President pointed out that this classification can help students from different countries of the world to discover the higher education options available to them outside their country, and to compare the main aspects of research tasks at different universities, where the list of this classification includes the best 2250 universities around the world. Suez University was able to occupy the 1427 ranking.
