SU President welcomes the educational counselor at the Chinese embassy

In his office, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, met this morning with Mr. Luo Chon sheng, the Minister Adviser to the Educational and Scientific Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic, Mr. Ban Xiao Han, the Secretary of the Education Attaché of the Embassy. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mazen Jalal, the dean of the Faculty of Arts, and the teaching staff members of the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of Arts. 
In addition, the SU President welcomed the attendees, stressing his appreciation of the various aspects of cooperation between the University and various Chinese bodies and universities. He also commended the level of cooperation between the two sides and the various aspects of support provided by the Chinese Embassy for the dissemination of Chinese culture and the teaching of the Chinese language to different nationalities. 
Moreover, the two sides exchanged views on how to maximize cooperation between the University and the Embassy in a way that serves the educational process. The SU President stated that he stressed the need to increase the opportunities for learning and teaching the Chinese language, to be an educational language for some disciplines such as science, technological disciplines, and others, to provide better opportunities for the University's graduates to compete in the labor market.  
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts thanked the SU President for his continued support of the faculty, especially the unique disciplines it includes, explaining that the Department of Chinese Language and Literature is one of the disciplines that meets a high turnout of students and their parents since this specialization is a highly competitive discipline in the labor market.
