In the presence of General Staff/ Abdelmadjid Saqr, the Governor of Suez, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, performed this morning the Eid El-Adha prayer at Port Tawfiq Mosque in Suez. Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmy, the Acting SU Vice-President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ezzedine Husseini Jad, the Acting SU Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, the deputy governor, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mazen Jalal, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the people and executive leadership, the members of the House of Representatives and the senate in the governorate, and a plentiful gathering of citizens, performed the Eid prayer.

Furthermore, the Eid sermon was delivered by Sheikh/ Majid Radi, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of the Waqfs of Suez, who noted that the holidays are days of goodness and blessing, seasons of joy and delightful, and Eid Al-Adha reflects the manifestations of joy and pleasure. The pilgrims of Beit Allah rejoice in their rites, and all Muslims rejoice in Eid, which reminds everyone of the values of sacrifice and compliance with the orders of the truth, as stated in the story of our Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail peace be upon them.

Following the Eid prayer, the SU President and the delegation accompanying his sovereignty moved to the headquarters of the provincial office, where he was met by His Excellency Major General/ Abdelmadjid Saqr, the Governor of Suez, and leaders of the governorate. Then, the attendees exchanged congratulations on Happy Eid in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.

The SU President expressed his sincere wishes to all based on harmony and progress. He prayed to Allah to perpetuate the joys and holidays of Egypt and Egyptians in which the Egyptians of their various communities express their solidarity and love for this dear homeland.
