The Deans' Council of Suez University was held this morning under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, in the presence of the SU Vice-Presidents and Deans of the University. This was conducted to honor Prof. Dr. Said Hamid Abadi, the SU Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs as well as and supervisor of the Faculty of Medicine for his work at the University.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, during the meeting, praised the role played by Abadi over the previous years in the establishment of the SU Faculty of Medicine, until the graduation of the first batch of doctors to serve the health sector in Egypt. The SU President also commended the efforts and achievements of the Community Service and Environment Development Sector during Prof. Dr. Said Abadi's tenure in Sector Affairs.

He also affirmed their sincere wishes to Professor Said Abadi in the time of reconciliation and progress. He stressed that over the past years, they have worked with a distinguished personality; and Address Dedication and fidelity in the service of the University in various locations held by its sovereignty.

For his part, Abadi expressed his pleasure at this generous lap from the President of the University and the distinguished members of the Council. Abbadi stressed that all this progress in previous years from Allah`s consent, then with the assistance of all colleagues from the President of the University, the Vice-Presidents of His Excellency, the deans of the faculties, the teaching staff members, and employees of the University. In his statement, Abadi expressed his sincere wishes to the University of Suez and to all its employees for compromise and progress, Egypt's higher education and scientific research sector has the best wishes for greater progress.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, gave the University's shield to Professor Said Hamid Abadi, the SU Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs as well as and supervisor of the Faculty of Medicine, in recognition of his sovereignty over all his efforts over the past years.

It should be noted that Prof. Dr. Said Hamid Abadi was born in Ismailia governorate, got a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery with very good honors in 1988 - Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University.

- Master's degree in microbiology and immunology with a very good rating in 1994 - Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University.

- Doctorate of Microbiology and Immunology in 1998 - Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University in cooperation with the Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) USA.

Several posts were filled, including:

- Intern doctor from 1 March 1989 to 28 February 1990.

- Commissioned doctor from 1 March 1990 to 30 April 1991.

- Teaching assistant in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine at Suez Canal University from 1 May 1991 to September 1994.

- Assistant Teacher of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University from September 1994 to September 1998.

- Visiting researcher at the Centre for Disease Prevention in Atlanta, Georgian State, United States of America from August 1995 to August 1997.

- Teacher of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University from October 1998 to December 2003.

- Fellow of the Center for Disease Prevention in Atlanta, Georgian State, United States of America for post-doctoral research from October 1999 to September 2002.

- Assistant Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology - Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University from January 2005 to May 2009.

- Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology - Faculty of Medicine Suez Canal University from May 2009 to 30 September 2017.
