Hnijal meets with the heads and representatives of the Suez neighborhoods to examine and monitor the functioning of the licensing system and the repair works

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, met with the heads and representatives of the Suez neighborhoods to examine and monitor the functioning of the licensing system and the repair works. Prof. Dr. Osama Massoud, the SU Former Vice-President and Professor of Architecture of the SU Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohamed Aziz, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and teaching staff members of the faculty who are involved in the process of issuing building permits in the governorate, attended this meeting.

The meeting comes within the framework of cooperation between the Suez Governorate and the follow-up of His Excellency Major General/ Abdelmadjid Saqr, the Suez Governor, keen for various fields of work with the University. At the beginning of the meeting, the SU President welcomed the attendance, stressing that the areas of cooperation between the University and the governorate are many and varied. SU President also praised the presentation of His Excellency Major General/ Suez Governor is a prominent supporter of the University. Moreover, the President emphasized the importance of this cooperation to direct the most services to the Suez citizens.

Furthermore, Hnijal listened to the neighborhood representatives by providing maximum facilities to pay for the operation of the modern construction licensing system. His Excellency explained that several procedures and axes to be adhered to during the coming period were agreed to facilitate the work, provide effort and time, and benefit the ordinary citizen.

Therefore, these actions have been agreed upon; Reliance on the "10-year compilation" reports of the buildings with the assurance that all the drawings provided conform to the codes of the construction system and then issuing the license after the administrative procedures are carried out in the neighborhood.

In addition, the SU President explained that it had been decided to review all old license applications that had already been submitted for certain observations as a matter of urgency and that there should be channels of communication for each of the neighborhoods of Suez with the University separately to speed up the procedures to shorten the time and effort.
