Hazem Mohamed El-Sabbagh (disabled people), a Student of the SU Faculty of Arts, was able to earn the Republic Karate Adult Championship over 20 years in 2024. During this season, "Al-Sabbagh" was able to be crowned champion of the Egyptian Cup, then the Republic Championship, and then the first, second, and third qualifying tournaments so he could win the Republic Championship.

Based on these advanced centers, the World Karate Federation (WKF) recently issued the ranking, and the student Hazim Al-Sabbagh achieved sixth place worldwide.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, sent a telegram to congratulate student/ Hazem Al-Sabbagh said:

It is worth mentioning that the champion Hazem Al Sabbagh is currently being prepared to participate in both the Arab Championship in the Arab Republic of Egypt and then the African Championship in Tunisia from July 2024.
