Under the auspices and attendance of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, this evening held the end events of the October Cup Championship at SU playgrounds. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice president for education and student affairs, several deans of faculties, staff, and SU employees.

The competitions were launched in various sports, artistic, and cultural fields and are part of the university's celebrations of the anniversary of the glorious October Victory in cooperation with the community of students for Egypt. Dr. Ahmed El-Dwssouki is a community leader at Suez University.

Furthermore, the championship included several competitions in various student sports, artistic, cultural, and social activities (football, basketball, handball, volleyball, athletics, short story, poetry, chess, artwork, and drawing).

Moreover, the SU president, the SU vice-president, and the attendance distributed the prizes of various competitions and delivered medals and trophies to the winning teams and contestants.

“Al-Sharkawi” also stated that Suez University celebrations on the anniversary of the October victories consisted of the organization of numerous events such as educational symposiums delivered by a group of leading specialists in military affairs and strategic and economic planning. In addition, the SU celebrations included arts, sports, cultural, and social events as well as related religious seminars throughout October. All these activities and more with the aim of commemorating this great anniversary in the history of Egypt and the Arab nation in the minds of our students, to know what sacrifices grandparents have made to them to live in this atmosphere of freedom and pride and to be inspired by the great spirit of October lessons in work and sincerity in order to build Egypt`s future.
