Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU President, a visit was organized for the students of the third year of the English Language Division of the SU Faculty of Commerce to the General Authority of the Economic Zone of Suez Canal Authority and Sokhna Seaport under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rania Abdulmonim Shamaa. The visit comes within the university's plan to provide practical training opportunities for various university students in various locations in the labor market.

The visit was welcomed by the General Staff of war, Ashraf Al-Moghani, who explained the Authority's pivotal role in stimulating investment in the Suez Canal area and providing logistical support. The visit was conducted in coordination with Mr. Jamal Walid, Head of the Economic Zone, and General Staff of war, Ahmed Baraya, Vice President of the Economic Zone.

A documentary film on Suez Canal and its economic role in trade and the global economy was also screened. Moreover, a detailed explanation of how marine supply chains and their activities are managed was given. Furthermore, a speech was given on the logistical development in Red Sea ports which is a major leap towards economic growth that positively affects Egypt's economy.
