With the participation of students from several Egyptian universities; Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, opened the Sixth Student Conference events of the Faculty of Science this morning. It was conducted under the auspices of His Excellency. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamed Fahmy, the Acting SU Vice-President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, and the head of the conference. The SU President, Deans Faculties, Teaching Staff, and Students also attended it.

In his statement, the SU President stressed that the interest of the political leadership in scientific research and the encouragement of the youth researchers reflects the deep belief of the Egyptian State that it is the best way to advance Egypt. The efforts of the Faculty of Science over the past years and its insistence on the continuity of this event confirm the University's ambitious vision to be a beacon of science and scientific research.

Furthermore, he explained that the Faculty of Science became a model for organizing the annual student conference, to become an example among the various faculties of the university, to prepare distinguished competent researchers.

Moreover, the "SU President" pointed to the idea of how we start as the basis, calling on everyone to start any project whether research or otherwise will be the beginning of action and excellence. Hence, he stressed that if there are missteps, it is not the end of the road but the motivation to complete the march.

In addition, the President of the University talked to students and expressed his pleasure at his presence in the Faculty of Science because it is one of the most important academic institutions that enables any university to advance, referring to his personal experiences during his master's degree and his great experience and knowledge through learning by faculty of science cadres.

Hnijal also advised his students that time should be invested and not wasted in using various social media and using technology as useful. He stressed that he supports any student who has a creative idea and wishes to implement it.

Then, Hnijal appreciated the efforts of all the organizers of this event from the teaching staff, associated staff, employees, and students, praising the outstanding level of the conference, and wishing everyone continuous success and progress.

In his speech, Fahmy greeted future scientists. He noted that this conference was an activation of the State's vision of interest in scientific research. Fahmi thanked the auspices of the conference. He also stressed that the support of His Excellency the President of the University for the Conference had a great impact on reaching this level.

Following that, A documentary video about the conference was shown that reviewed the various versions of the conference. Then, the President moved to the exhibition hall of research work and posters where he wandered between the works presented discussing with students their research projects. He also praised the outstanding level on which the students' efforts appeared.
