Moustafa Mahdy, a SU Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering student in the fourth year, won second place in the Technical Debate Competition. In this competition, students compete in petroleum engineering by proposing a subject to be displayed at a presentation before the jury assesses their performance and skills. Moreover, the students participated in groups with two students from different universities. Additionally, the competition took place among the conference events MEPEC 2024 (Middle East Process Engineering Conference). It was held at Al Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, congratulated the student and wished him continued success. The SU President stressed his eagerness to encourage all students at the University to participate in various events, activities, and competitions.
