Under the auspices of the General Staff of War, Abdelmadjid Saqr, Suez Governor, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU President, Suez University organized a major educational seminar and art ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of October Victories and the National Day of Suez Governorate, in the presence of:

The General Staff of War Samir Faraj, Expert and Military and Strategic Analyst, Major General Mohammed Kashkosh, Consultant at Nasser Military Academy and Military Expert, Prof. Dr. Omar Salman the Professor of Economics at Helwan University, SU Vice-President, Deans of the faculties, a group of executive and popular leaders of the governorate, and students from various faculties of the University.

The ceremony began by reciting verses from the Holy Koran. Then, SU President delivered a speech welcoming the attendees and noted that organizing the event aimed at affirming that the anniversary of the October victory will continue to be etched in the conscience and mind of the Egyptian people, paying tribute to the valiant armed forces. Al-Sharqawi also stated that the achievements of the Egyptian State in various fields call on us to support all these efforts aimed at improving the future of Egyptians, which requires that the Egyptian State be thanked and appreciated under the leadership of Abdelfattah Al-Sisi, the Egyptian President and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

Al-Sharqawi continued that the Egyptian state and its leader President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced the choice of the difficult route, and the choice of the new republic, to achieve prosperity for present and future generations pointing out that the President was inspired by the spirit of Great October, a guiding light that illuminates the nation's beacon of success and progress, and that he paid tribute to the great generation of October and to the lives of the innocent martyrs who gave their lives for freedom and the restoration of the land.

The Governor then delivered a speech in which he tackled the advantage of the achievements of the Egyptian State in various areas of development, particularly in Suez Governorate, stressing that Egypt's actions entailed not paying heed to the enemies of the homeland and their ongoing attempts to corrupt the development movement to bring down the Egyptian State.

This was followed by the screening of a documentary produced by the Media Centre of Suez University entitled "Study at Suez University", and then the educational seminar began with a lecture by the General Staff of War Mohammed Qashqosh entitled The Battle of Suez Victory (Stalingrad Egypt) in which he explained the heroics of the valiant city of Suez during the glorious October War.

After that, Dr. Omar Salman lectured on the current Egyptian economy in which he explained that Egypt with various current economic variables still has a strong economy capable of confrontation.

Later, General Staff of War Samir Faraj lectured entitled "Egypt to where", reviewing the axes of threat to the Egyptian State throughout history. He then reviewed Egyptian relations with various international powers, particularly the United States of America, and the relations of Egypt and the Arab States with the great Powers. He emphasized the need to circumvent and support the Egyptian State due to the contrived conspiracies aimed at bringing down Egypt, but the Egyptian people's consciousness is the inhibitor of any anxiety.

Finally, this was followed by the grand artistic ceremony of the choir of Suez University, who performed a series of national songs and folklore, then the artist Mohammed Al-Alili performed some songs followed by the star of the concert grand artist Majd Al-Qasim, who amused the attendance with his beautiful songs.
