IEEE Team of the Faculty of Suez Engineering Wins Second and Fifth Places in the World Robot Olympics in Greece

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, and the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Aziz, the Acting Dean of the SU Faculty of Engineering, the IEEE team at Suez University won fifth place globally in the Marathon non-lego category and second place in the Online Exhibition category at the Olympiad Minoan for the MRC global robot, and out of 36 countries. This was conducted in the State of Greece, with the partial support of the Misr El Kheir Foundation.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, congratulated the team members who achieved this outstanding achievement. He stressed that what the team has done has delighted all the University members, wishing everyone continuous excellence.

It is worth mentioning that the team managed to build an advanced "robot" to pass the competition tasks in record time and compete among teams of the best universities worldwide.

The engineering team at Suez University included:

- Ahmed Issam Shabel is a student in the 4th year of the Faculty of Engineering of the Mechanic Department and the team leader and former head of IEEE.

- Abdelrahman Zaki is a student in the 2nd year of the Faculty of Engineering of the Communications Department and a team member.
