Conclusion of the First Student Activities Festival at Suez University Hnijal: We celebrated Sinai Liberation Holidays in a non-stereotypical way

This afternoon, Suez University organized the closing ceremony of the first Student Activities Festival organized by the University in cooperation with the Leadership Development Institute at the Ministry of Higher Education in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities and Director of the Leadership Development Institute, Major General Staff of War Dr. Hafez Mahmoud, Senior Strategist, SU Vice-Presidents, Faculties' Deans, Teaching Staff Members and Delegates of Universities participating in the Festival of Activities.

First of all, the ceremony began with the national anthem, and then a documentary produced by the SU Media Center entitled "We are Suez University ". It reviewed the potential of the various faculties of the University and its modern academic programs.

This was followed by a lecture by General Staff of War Dr. Hafez Mahmoud Al-Khair, the senior strategist entitled "Generational Wars and the Survival of the Egyptian State". He addressed the history and types of wars, explaining that the Fourth and Fifth Generation Wars, based on misconceptions, destroy values and constants. Egypt was a coveted target for the enemies who sought to organize systematic attacks against the will of its people.

Then Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Adviser to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Student Activities and Director of the Leadership Development Institute of the Ministry, delivered a speech through which he expressed his sincere appreciation to the University for its efforts to bring this event out. He wished to reiterate in the years to come. He presented a documentary on Leadership Development Institute; History and Services.

After that, the SU President delivered a speech welcoming the attendance, expressing his great pleasure that the first Student Activities Festival at Suez University reached this stage, with such success and this honorable image in appearance and substance, which reflects how much effort and time has been made to achieve this success.

Moreover, Hnijal explained that the idea of the festival was aimed at expressing our celebrations of Sinai liberation in an atypical manner, whether in the form or content, achieves the directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, who has always emphasized the need to care for young people, especially university students, and provide them with all opportunities.

Meanwhile, the SU President noted that caring for young people, not only by providing adequate academic learning but also by providing serious opportunities to discover abilities and refine talents, as well as to build personality, enlighten minds with correct thought, opinion, and belief, by integrating the homeland cultures and putting away missteps and destructive thoughts that shatter effort and destroy will.

In addition, the SU President paid tribute to Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who does not hesitate to encourage various sectors of the Ministry to achieve the vision of Egypt's leadership in this regard, especially student activities, as they provide great opportunities to develop the potential of Egyptian university students.

Furthermore, the festival's management used several new awards, such as:

- Award for the best line of presentation won by Mansoura University.

- Award for the best ethics won by Mr. Mohammed Hani, Supervisor of Ain Shams University, student Omar Saad Abdul Latif of Suez University, and Ahmed Jamal Sabri of Sadat City University.

- Award for scientific excellence won by student Ahmed Hussein Abdullah Nasr, University of Luxor.

Finally, the results of the festival's competitions were announced as follows:

Futsal Competition

- First place: Zagaziq University.

- Second place: Suez Canal University.

- Third place: Sohag University.

Beach Ball Competition for Male Students:

- First place: Ain Shams University

- Second place: Assiut University

- Third place: Mansoura University

Beach Ball Competition for Female Students:

- First place: Helwan University

- Second place: New Valley University

- Third place: Minya University.

Chess Competition for Female Students:

- First place: Marina Nabil Najib - Assiut University

- Second place: Marina Harby Khairy - Helwan University

- Third place: Aya Seddik Abdulwahab - Tanta University

Chess Competition for Male Students

- First place: Sherif Atef Mohammed - Damanhur University

- Second place: Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Abulnga - Mansoura University

- Third place: Moaaz Ahmad Mansour - Helwan University

Plastic Arts Competition (Oily Photography)
