Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, took an inspection tour to follow the course of the competitions of the first student activities festival of Suez University. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Karim Hamam, the Adviser of the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities, Prof. Dr. Ezzedine Husseini Jad, the Acting SU Vice-President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr.Sherif Fahmi, the Acting SU Vice-President for Postgraduate and research.

The President inspected the five-year football games at the university's stadiums and spoke with students and supervisors listening to their views of the festival and their impressions of residence and subsistence and Suez city, and then moved to the headquarters of the oil drawing competition. He held conversations with students about the drawing boards in which they are creative, and all the attendees were impressed by the artwork they saw reflecting a distinct aesthetic vision.

This was followed by a tour of the chess competition headquarters of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, where attendees praised the levels of students participating in the competitions. The President expressed his pleasure at being among the students of various universities in Egypt.
