In the presence of the Suez Governor, the SU President performs the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Badr Mosque in Port Tawfik

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Badr Mosque in Port Tawfiq in the presence of Major General Abdelmadjid Saqr, the Suez Governor, Major General/Husam Al-Dah, Director of Suez Security, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy of Suez Governor, and several of SU leaders among them Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmy, Acting SU Vice-President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ezzedine Husseini Jad, Acting SU Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs in addition to several members of SU faculties deans, teaching staff, and people's and executive leadership in the governorate.

The Eid sermon was delivered by Sheikh Majid Radi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of the Waqfs in Suez, who stressed that Eid is a day of joy and happiness among the Muslims, to believe in the Prophet's Hadith “One who fasts, experiences two joys: he feels pleasure when he breaks the fast. He is joyful when he meets Allah." Radi also pointed out that the manifestation of pleasure and joy in Eid is a rite of religion.

Following the Eid prayer, the SU President and his accompanying delegation went to the headquarters of the governorate office where they were received by General Staff of War Abdelmajid Saqr, the Suez Governor. They exchanged congratulations and blessings with good wishes. Hnijal wishes Egypt and the world progress and prosperity.
