This morning, General staff of war/ Abdal Maged Sakr, the Suez Governor, indurated the conference of the Economic and Social Council. This conference was participated by Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, Prof. Dr. Abdul Atti Lashin, the SU vice-president for post-graduate studies and research, Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, the deputy governor, Major-General/ Mohamed Shaaban, the Deputy Director of the Economic Zone, Many investors, popular and executive leaders in the governorate, as well as a number of SU staff members.

Furthermore, the conference aims to highlight the potential of Suez Governorate as one of the most important governorates with many elements of investment, both in terms of the availability of a large number of major commercial and petroleum ports as well as the various industry establishment in the fields of petroleum, iron, steel, fertilizer, and cement, as well as investment in the tourism field.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, appreciated the efforts by the Governor to promote various facilities in the governorate, especially the major development of infrastructure, and to provide all possibilities to overcome any difficulties and resolve any problems that investors may face in various fields so that Suez Governorate can be a beacon attractive to investments.

Moreover, “Al-Sharkawi” stressed that Suez University is constantly ready to provide all aspects of scientific, academic, and applied for support through its material capabilities of unique community-oriented laboratories and disciplines such as petrochemical programs of the Faculty of Science and the expertise of the faculties of petroleum engineering and mining, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Technology and Education, and Fish Resources. In addition to the readiness of all competent staff members of the University to participate in various research projects related to investment opportunities and projects in the governorate.

This came at the opening of the Economic and Social Council of the Suez Governorate hosted by the Conference Hall of Al-Nasr Petroleum Company in Suez.
