Symposium Haya Karima initiative at Suez University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, the university organized this morning a major seminar to promote volunteering efforts for university youth within the presidential initiative "Haya Karima" in the presence of the coordinators of the Haya Karima initiative.

The events of symposiums began with a national anthem. The president then delivered a speech welcoming the attendees and pointed out the importance of the "Haya Karima" initiative launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, the President of the Republic. Moreover, the president explained that the initiative contributes to the provision of health, education, and social services to Egyptian citizens, including drinkable water, sanitation, electricity, and other infrastructure. Al-Sharqawi also noted that today's symposium coincided with Egypt's celebrations of glorious October holidays that inherited the Egyptian people’s dignity, pride, and honor.

For her part, Dr. Yasmine Aboul Hassan, the coordinator of Haya Karima in the Suez governorate, said that the launch of the Haya Karima initiative came from the dreams of the Egyptian youth to prepare a comprehensive development plan to create a dignified and sustainable life for the groups most in need by preparing field studies and monitoring the needs of the villages most in need.

Furthermore, M/ Hader Nour Aldin, the coordinator of the Central Chamber of the Haya Karima initiative, explained that this initiative is one of the bases of achieving Egypt's vision of 2030 for sustainable development, noting that all foreign countries have a different view of Egypt following the state's achievements in these mega-development projects.
