This morning, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi witnessed the student orientation day organized by the Faculty of Dentistry in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Atta, SU Vice-president for Education and Student Affairs. SU president and his vice were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Hani Shalabi, the Dean of the faculty, the faculty under-secretary, faculty staff, employees, and old and new students.

In his speech, Al-Sharqawi welcomed old and new students wishing everyone success and continuous progress, especially as they are studying at one of Egypt's newest dental faculties in terms of equipment, laboratories, and tools that ensure the highest quality of education for students.

The SU president then emphasized the need for students to be careful when trying to obtain any information from any of the social media platforms due to the possible dissemination of rumors and misinformation news aimed at discouraging youth and disappointing them.

In his speech, Shalabi noted that the students of the SU Faculty of Medicine are fortunate to have advanced potential in the faculty's laboratories and devices and called on all to make the greatest use of this potential while preserving it for all to benefit from it. He also thanked the University Administration for its support and continuous encouragement at all levels to upgrade the Faculty of Dentistry to the highest quality of education. The Dean of the faculty also invited the new students to join student activities, explaining that the university is not only to acquire academic science but also an opportunity to discover, develop and refine talents and build students' personalities to face life beyond graduation.

During the ceremony, which included a music and poetry performance, the SU president honored the outstanding students from previous years and presented certificates of appreciation to the distinguished faculty staff, associated staff, and employees for the effort and time provided for the promotion and development of the SU Faculty of Dentistry.
