Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, opened the second sports festival for student communities in Egyptian universities. This festival was hosted by Kafrelsheikh University from 30 September to 4 October in cooperation with the Central Department of Sports Programs of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

With the guidance of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice-president for education and student, Suez University participated in the events of the festival with futsal football male students, tennis table male students, speed-ball female students, electronic games male students, and recreationally games female students.
