This morning, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU President, took an inspection tour of several university faculties to follow up on the attendance on the first day of the new academic year. He was accompanied by Ali Hussein Atta, the SU Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs.

The Faculty of Education was the first stop of the tour, where the SU President followed up the attendance in various terraces and halls. During the tour, Al-Sharqawi met the children of the children's university in one of the faculty halls, where he talked to them and encouraged them to continue studying at the children's university to develop their talents and abilities.

Then he went to the Faculty of Arts where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mazen Jalal, Dean of the Faculty. The SU President and The SU Vice President, wandered into some of the faculty's terraces to assure the proper functioning of the educational process. They also welcomed the old and new students wishing everyone success and progress.

Al-Sharqawi then concluded his tour by visiting the Faculty of Physical Education where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Wael Kandil, Dean of the Faculty, the faculty under-secretaries, and the faculty staff. Moreover, the SU President followed one of the faculty students’ queues and praised the discipline and commitment of the faculty students both in the academic field and the practical applications scheduled for them.
