Opening of the Children's University Program at Suez University in the presence of the SU president

Under the auspices and presence of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, opened this morning the Children`s University Program at Suez University. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice-president for education and student affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Atti Lashin, the SU vice-president for post-graduate studies and research, and the SU faculties deans.

The ceremony was presented by the child Anas Ayman. It also was opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran by the child Abdulrahman Mussilhi. After that, Dr. Reham Salama, the Coordinator of the SU Children's University, delivered a speech explaining that the Children's University project has been held by Suez University since 2015 and is one of the first universities to participate in this promising project.

Then, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, welcomed the participating children and their parents. He thanked Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for his great support, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, the president of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.

The SU president emphasized that investing in our children's minds from a young age is one of the most important priorities of the Egyptian State at present, given the importance of building young people's thinking on innovation, creativity, and critical thinking.

“Al-Sharkawi” stated that the University is open to all to provide its services to all members of society in order to benefit from its laboratories and material and human abilities, especially children at the Children's University.

He also pointed out the University Activities Forum for Climate Change organized by Suez University. Moreover, it was done under the auspices of Prof. Dr. the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in preparation for the upcoming Climate Conference at which Suez University presented a set of relevant scientific research in various disciplines.

After that, a group of Children's University students provided an induction to clarify the services offered by the Children's University Project to students and that the program is free and the application of the program is electronic through the Link provided by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, which takes precedence over the booking.
