Leaders Preparation Institute in Helwan hosted the first-year students' forum at Egyptian Universities and Institutes, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minster of Higher Education and Scientific Research. As well, Suez University participated with a delegation of the first-year students of the SU faculties. This was done under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president, and under the supervision of Prof. Ali Hussain Atta, the SU vice-president for education and student affairs.

The events of the meeting began with a lecture in the presence of M. Refaat Fayyad, the director of Akhbar El-Yom newspaper. The events took place with lectures on the rights and duties of the university student, immunized youth students from extremist ideas and fighting rumors, the art of charisma, effective communication skills, as well as an entertainment program for students that includes cultural, artistic, and sporting competitions and concerts.

It should be noted that the forum started from 30 August until 2 September. The participating students also expressed their pleasure at this forum, which is an opportunity to develop their skills and refine the capacities that benefit them in the future.
