Suez University is making intensive efforts to promote digital transformation in all sectors of the University, in line with Egypt's strategy 2030 on information, computer, and data technology, especially in university education. Digital transformation is also the basis on which the Egyptian State relies in applying the "new republic" thinking.

In this framework, the students of SU Computer Science and Information Faculty presented the 3rd year students` projects at the computer science and information technology department at the faculty on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning, which were carried out under the supervision of Dr. Haitham Farooq, Dr. Hussain Sharif, and members of the Faculty of Computers and Information.  

This was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Hussain Atta, SU vice-president for education and student affairs, Dr. Mohamed Dagher, the executive director of information at the university, Dr. Alaa Alddin Mohamed Younis, the under-secretary of the Faculty of Fish Resources and coordinator-general of student activities, and a number of staff from different faculties at the university. In particular, the University's strategy focuses on the pragmatic and practical aspect of academic study by developing students' technical skills to provide software solutions to contemporary problems, moving towards developing skills for the labor market and developing the environment for inter-faculties research projects.  

It is worth mentioning that the report of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the achievements of Suez University during 2021 showed that the digital transformation sector at Suez University underwent a breakthrough in 2021. Furthermore, Information Technology Training Centers at the University have been successfully gotten accreditation to become accredited for training and testing on digital transformation fundamentals certificates issued by the Higher Supreme of Universities as well as the processing of electronic testing laboratories and the full implementation of the first phase of electronic exams for medical students. In addition, launching the university e-mail portal for students and staff.
