Under the agreement between the Suez University and the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași in Romania in November 2019, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, the SU president visited Romania. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmi, the dean of the Faculty of Science under the Erasmus + Convention.

In addition, the visit discussed the results of the convention and the future vision to enhance the cooperation between the two academic institutions.

It is worth mentioning that “The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi” has active cooperation with the Egyptian Supreme University institutions, where it has two joint agreements with Suez and Mansoura University, as well as 5 Erasmus + agreements with Egyptian universities, including the Suez University.

Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the two universities, which included exchanging visits to researchers and staff and cooperation in the fields of scientific research, international dissemination, and joint study programs.
