Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Soubhi, the Minister of Sports and Youth, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, the University organized "The National Project to qualify, train and Sensitize Student Leaders" launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the slogan "Youth of Egypt... Future of the New Republic". The project took place at the University over three days, during which several meetings, lectures, and symposiums were organized for the members of the student union of the University. It was attended by Dr. Hani Baha 'Edin, the General Coordinator of Student Activities, M. Jehan Wahid, the Director General of Student Care at the University, and gentlemen of student care officials at the University and various faculties.

Furthermore, the SU President stated that this program is one of the mechanisms of the Egyptian State to raise awareness among university students of the importance of community and political participation.

He also noted that this national project aims to prepare and qualify student leaders in universities encouraging university youth to participate positively in community development and service. It also aims to raise the spirit of loyalty and affiliation among university students and inform student leaders about the international arena of subjects such as Egyptian and Arab national security; and the new Republic, in addition to supporting young people's constructive ideas through workshops.

The project included workshops for student activities committees at all university faculties on "Activities, regulations, digital transformation, and governance".

Therefore, the training included several lectures and workshops on the University's activities committees. It included a symposium of Prof. Dr. Nepal Ezzedine, the Dean of the Faculty of Policy and Economics, and Prof. Dr. Gamal Salama, a Professor at the Faculty of Politics and Economics. This seminar was about "National Strategy and National and Arab Security", as well as a seminar by Dr. Jabrullah Abbas.
