Sixty-first Educational Seminar of the People's Defense and Military Forces at Suez University ▪︎"Hnihal": Egypt`s Faith in its youth is unwavering.

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, received Major General, Walid Hamid Al-Hamaki, Commander of the People's Defense and Military Forces, Prof. Dr. Abdallah Ramadan, Deputy Governor of Suez, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, former SU President, Dr. Isam Al-Rupi, one of the leading scholars of al-Azhar al-Sharif, and a group of people's and executive leaders in the governorate as part of the events of the 61st educational symposium of the People's Defense and Military Forces held in the major conference hall of the university.

The ceremony began with the recitation of some Holy Quran verses, followed by a speech by the SU President welcoming the attendance and expressing his pleasure at this event, which covers one of the most important roles played by the University, which is enlightening minds, is not only the sound academic science but also the University is concerned with building the minds and personality of its youth with accurate cognition and proper understanding of living realities.

Hnijal explained that what our country, the whole region, and even the world witnessing of all these events and conflicts, we must face a dangerous regional reality, and our region faces unprecedented challenges, intertwined with international circumstances that the world has not seen in decades.

Moreover, he noted that the situation of the political leadership regarding recent events in the Gaza Strip has been clear since the beginning, based on a deep sense of historical and humanitarian responsibility of Egypt to always stand by its brothers from the Palestinian people. It is a role that Egypt will continue to conduct with sobriety, honor, and abstraction until the Palestinian people have their legitimate rights.

The SU President then reaffirmed the great confidence and unequivocal support for all the actions and measures that the Egyptian State has undertaken under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Fatah El-Sisi, the Egyptian President and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in this and other current issues.

He also sent a tribute of respect and appreciation from Suez University to the great Armed Forces for its valuable national role in war and peace, its ongoing sincerity, its outstanding professionalism, and its constant preparedness for all the challenges facing the nation. He values the role and efforts of the people and military defense forces in supporting civil society, developing the spirit of loyalty, and belonging to all categories of society through organizing many events, activities, meetings, and exhibitions, all of which aim to secure the interior side of the country.

Furthermore, Hnijal pointed out that the Egyptian State is making giant development projects in various sectors. It puts a great responsibility on our shoulders to continue the work and diligence to follow this great development and rapid growth and development that the Egyptian higher education and scientific research sector witnesses comes in the light of the national strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research. in the light of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research launched by Dr. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This confirms that Higher Education and Scientific Research is a strategic option to overcome various difficulties in development plans, especially because development that is not based on scientific constitutions supports and develops it remains fragile and lacking in established foundations.

In addition, The SU President reviewed the potential of university faculties based on the principle of uniqueness and excellence, and the University's horizontal expansion steps, which coincided with vertical expansion. During the past months, the University has been able to catch up with excellence, occupying a place amid the most famous university rankings not only locally. It was able to enter many regional and international classifications, thanks to the continuous work of its affiliates and their excellence in the field of scientific research.

After that, the SU President referred to the University's new projects; Expressing his appreciation and all of the University's staff for the effort and support of the General Staff of War, Abdelmajid Saqr, Suez Governor, in facilitating all procedures and measures for the establishment of the new Technology Suez University, as well as the steps the University is making to finalize the first phase of the SU branch of Abordis in the South Sinai governorate, Where the 100% percentage of construction work for the university's first phase was completed at a cost of about 1 billion and 110 million pounds.

At the end of his speech, the SU President delivered a speech to students stressing that Egypt`s faith in its youth was unwavering, they were the partners of the present and the prophecy of the bright future.

Meanwhile, the SU Faculty of Physical Education students then presented a show entitled Egypt Through Ages, amid the interaction and admiration of all attendees at the ceremony, which presented Pharaoh, Saidi, and Peasant folklore as well as many shows on some national and youth songs that had a great interaction from attendees and students.

While, Dr. Issam Al-Rupi, the great preacher asked the attendees a question: Which land did Allah bless the world with? He explained that Allah Almighty answered this question in the Holy Koran in Surat "Al-Tin", explaining that it was the Levantine territories and the land of Sinai, which Allah blessed by being transfigured on Al-Taur Mountain on our Prophet Moses.

Al-Ruby then reviewed the history of the historical conflict on the blessed land since the Ain Goliath battles down to the 10th battle of Ramadan 6th of October. He then affirmed that the land blessed by Allah is Sinai and affirmed that the Islamic religion encourages patriotism and belonging, noting that Egypt has a guarantee of Allah's preservation and security until the Day of Resurrection.

Later on, the University Theatre team then presented a play entitled "Your Mind is Your Salvation", which dealt with fourth-generation wars that relied on trying to contaminate young people's minds with falsehoods, palms, and misinformation.

Hence, the University's coral introduced an artistic performance of several national and popular songs that met with great interaction among attendees and students. Then, an artistic performance was presented by the Elsafaa Society for Disabled People, where the student Hazem Al-Sabbagh, a student at the SU Faculty of Arts, presented a Karate show.

This was followed by the screening of a short recording film showing Egypt's righteous martyrs. General Walid al-Hamaki, commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, delivered a speech expressing his pleasure for being at the Suez University and expressing his sense of hope for a bright future with his presence among the university students that Egypt relies on to build the new Republic, stressing that sacrificing life to the security of Egypt is a duty pursued by all members of the armed forces.

Thus, Hamaki praised what he has seen in this honor program in this seminar, especially the Disabled People show. The Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces stressed that science is the light lamp that illuminates the path of the future, stressing the need to adhere to and ensure that science is obtained for the construction of Egypt. "Al-Hamaki", speaking to the audience, stressed that there is no need to bid for the Egyptian state's efforts to help the brothers in Gaza, stressing that Egypt is always considering that the Palestinian issue could not be abandoned.

Finally, the " SU President ", in conjunction with the Commander of the People's Defense and Military Forces, honored the families of the martyrs, the SU disabled students, and the ElSafa Society for the Care of disabled people participating in the Symposium.
