It was held over the previous days for supervisors and resident employees in SU Dormitories to develop their skills in dealing with students and provide psychological support to students in the SU Dormitories by upgrading the competence of employees and supervisors in the SU Dormitories for students. The workshop was lectured by Dr. Ayman Hilmi, Assistant Professor of the Mental Health Department at the SU Faculty of Education.

Moreover, the SU President stated that this workshop comes within the framework of SU's concern for the concept of training and capacity development for all the University's staff, whether teaching staff or employees in various sectors, to keep pace with all developments in various fields to ensure the delivery of distinguished service by the University to its staff.

Furthermore, He explained that the purpose of this workshop is to deepen the sense of responsibility and provide all forms of psychological and moral support to our students residing in the SU Dormitories. In addition, Hnijal noted that this training was also aimed at developing skills for dealing with expatriate students and helping them adapt to the environmental and psychological conditions surrounding them such as the psychological pressures faced by students in the SU Dormitories; their types and causes, how to overcome them, and how to deal with problems facing students, their levels, and ways of solving these problems.

It is worth mentioning that the workshop tackled the rules and system of residency in the SU Dormitories in an atmosphere of training characterized by the interaction and participation of trainees.
