The Higher Education Program for Vocational Guidance is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to link vocational qualification to the labor market.

- Implementation of the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research to link study programs to the labor market.

Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the end of the study tour held in the United Kingdom of Britain from January 8 to January 13. It was attended by the directors of the employment centers as representatives of the seven territories, as part of the project "Higher Education Program for Vocational Guidance for Employment" in cooperation with the International Labor Organization.

Furthermore, the directors and officials of the recruitment offices of Egyptian universities and institutions, Dr. Mustafa Ali Tawfiq of the University of Suez Employment Centre, participated in the tour. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, congratulated Dr. Tawfiq. The SU President wished His Excellency lasting success, stressing the need to invest in the results of this tour and transfer these experiences to the university's staff.

Moreover, a study tour of the United Kingdom included visiting 5 international universities and each university's employment centers; To see the latest in the employment centers at international universities and the latest in the countries' career guidance.

The tour also included several panel discussions, which saw fruitful participation between center directors and British advisers to vocational education institutions; To exchange ideas and different visions.

Following the completion of the study tour, Dr. Ayman Farid, the Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning, Training, and Qualification for the Labor Market, held a meeting with Mr. Eric Aushlan, the Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Office in Cairo; To study the results and analyze the outputs of the visit to the United Kingdom.

The "Higher Education Program for Vocational Guidance for Employment" project is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to link vocational qualification to the labor market, as a result of the cooperation agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the International Labor Organization; To launch the Vocational Guidance for Employment higher education program in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO), within the framework of achieving the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research.
