Under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Human Rights Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, organize a workshop at Suez University

Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Hnijal, the SU President, welcomed the Media Officer of the Human Rights Unit in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Media Professional/Ahmed Mohsen, who visited Suez University, as part of a coordination workshop to prepare and implement the programs of the Human Rights Unit of the University.

This workshop is conducted under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Dr. Amr Allam, the Permanent Agent and head of the Human Rights Unit of the Ministry, and Engineer Ahmed Nasr, the Executive Director of Human Rights Unit of the Ministry.

Moreover, it was attended by Dr. Izzeldin Hussain, the SU Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs.

During the meeting, Dr. Ashraf Hnijal stressed the University's interest in the importance of consolidating the concepts and principles of human rights and the concepts of democracy in the conscience of the University students, to prepare them for leadership in the future, entrench the meaning and concept of human rights, and sensitizing staff members, employees, and our students about their rights and duties towards the University and society as a whole, through holding numerous events, courses, seminars, and activities.

For his part, Ahmed Mohsen, the Media Officer of the Human Rights Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, noted that the Ministry was keen to establish a unit, called "Human Rights Unit", the major umbrella for rights and duties university-specific achievements and documentation throughout the university year, noting that the Unit will work towards selecting the best university applying the best human rights standards and the Human Rights Unit aims to monitor positives and receive complaints human rights ", promoting and developing human rights capacities, expanding awareness within the academic community and disseminating a culture of human rights through their teaching to all universities.
