SU President opens the 1st Conference of the Canal Cities for cosmetic surgeons at the Faculty of Medicine

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, opened the 1st conference of the Canal Cities for cosmetic surgeons. This was conducted under the SU President with the participation of the Egyptian Charity for Cosmetic Surgeons, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Said Hamed Abbadi, the SU Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development and the supervisor of the Faculty of Medicine. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Yousef Saleh, the Head of the Conference, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussain, the Secretary of the Conference.

Moreover, the SU President addressed the opening session, and he expressed his pleasure at being present at the opening of the Conference. Noting that the unprecedented interest of His Excellency President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic is manifest through several atypical measures and mega-projects aimed at providing the right level of health care through presidential initiatives, replacement, renewal, and horizontal and vertical spread of various health institutions. This plays a very important role on the part of the University: the need to support and encourage such conferences and scientific meetings, given the importance of the objectives offered by these meetings as well as work to acquire everything new from medical science. It also holds great importance in the intellectual exchange among all medical workers. and more modern methods, skills, and experiences for others.

Therefore, Hnijal explained that these goals are always emphasized by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who provides a lot of endless support to all the Ministry's institutions, especially the university hospital sector.

The SU President then explained to the attendees from university guests that the SU Faculty of Medicine is considered one of the most beautiful academic iconographies in Egypt. The SU President added that the university hospital, the hospital will enter the service to provide health services to the Suez community where it is set up in an area of 42 thousand meters, including 17 outside clinics and 15 operating rooms. (13 operating rooms, 2 binoculars), 260 accommodation beds, 26 emergency beds, 22 dialysis beds, 23 intensive care beds, 25 infant incubators, 6 analytics laboratories, and 6 analytics rooms. Hence, the SU President stressed that this would represent a strong addition to the health system for the service of citizens as well as the academic and research process for all the university staff. He affirms his confidence that this Conference will undoubtedly be a positive addition to this outstanding edifice.

Meanwhile, in his speech, Prof. Dr. Said Hamid Abadi, SU Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development and the supervisor of the SU Faculty of Medicine, welcomed the attendance and expressed his pleasure that the SU Faculty of Medicine hosts this conference of the Canal Cities, noting that the importance of this event comes from being a conference specialized in surgery.

Finally, Abadi commended the choice of the conference theme which focuses on how to deal with wounds in terms of beautification, given the importance of the topic for both physician and patient. He also noted that the importance of this event also comes from its synchronization with the graduation of the first class of students this year.
