SU President welcomes a delegation from the South Sudan Embassy in Cairo

In his office, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, welcomed this morning a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the State of South Sudan, which included Gentlemen: Nuqatjuk Shawish Nawila Kerr, the Acting Minister Commissioner, Mudot Dot Yal Akwi, the Minister Commissioner, and Michael Mthbanq Tafoug Kawaj, the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy. This meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Azadin Husseini Jad, the Acting Secretary of the SU Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, the Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering.

Therefore, the meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Suez University and the State of South Sudan as well as the University's privileges for students from South Sudan.

Furthermore, the "President of the University" stated that the great interest of His Excellency the President of the Republic and the continued guidance of the need to open channels of communication and cooperation with brothers in various African countries, as well as the support of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the initiative of “Study in Egypt”, and intensifying cooperation with providing all logistical and scientific support to international students.

As well, Hnijal explained that the meeting also reviewed some of the student's interests and listened to their views and proposals for the coming period.
