In his office, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, welcomed this morning a delegation of Jiaotong Shanghai University and Jiaxing University. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Sherif Famy, the SU acting Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research as well as the dean of the faculty, including the delegation of Dr. Rhonghou liu, Professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University and Dr. Weixing Cao, Professor at Jiaxing University.

The president stated that this visit came within the framework of cooperation between the SU Faculty of Science and Chinese universities. His Excellency discussed with the delegation the opportunities to promote cooperation and exchange experiences between Suez University and the two Chinese universities at the level of researchers in the bachelor's level and studies in faculties. The Shanghai University is among the top three universities in China according to the world rankings.

The visit included scientific lectures at the First Faculty of Science of Dr. Rhonghou liu Professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University entitled:

“Research and Development of Biomass Conversion Technologies "

In addition to another lecture by Dr. Weixing Cao, a Professor at Jiaxing University entitled:

“Effects of zeolite and trace elements on biogas production from alkaline hydrogen peroxide pretreated sweet sorghum bagasse slurry”.
