Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, and the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Aziz, Acting Dean of the SU Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Duaa Alagha, Acting undersecretary of the SU Faculty of Engineering for Environment Affairs and Community Service, the SU Faculty of Engineering announces holding a seminar entitled: "Application of sustainable development to preserve the rights of future generations."

The seminar tackles the following themes:

1. Concept and objectives for sustainable development.

2. Definition of sustainable urban societies.

3. The concept of green buildings according to Egypt's Vision 2030.

4. Mechanisms of converting Traditional buildings into green buildings.

It will be held on Monday, October 30, at 12.30 p.m. in hall no. 136.

The seminar lecturer will be Dr. Ahmed Badruddin Atef, a Teacher at the Faculty of Engineering, Damanhur University, and Ambassador for Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
