Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, announces the competition for the selection of the Ideal student at the university faculties. The first students from each faculty and institute are escalated in preparation for the selection of the ideal student at the university level.

Anyone who would like to join has to go to the student care at the faculty or institute and fill in the application form. The deadline for registration is on Monday, 6 November 2023 at 12 P.M.

The competition is conducted at two levels:

Phase 1 at the level of each faculty over two days:

The first day is on Monday at 12 P.M. on 6 November 2023 for editorial testing in general culture, innovative and critical thinking abilities, and decision-making ability.

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, for presentations and interviews (to review his distinction and why the committee selected him, as well as to present his various experiences, activities, and skills) before the Faculty Committee.

Phase II at the university level:

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, it includes presentations in no more than 15 minutes and personal interviews of candidates before a jury, to select the first 3 male students and the first 3 female students.

The ideal student is selected to compete at the university level to represent Suez University in the ideal student competition held at the level of the Republic.

Criteria for participation in the competition (in accordance with the student moral charter issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research)

The student must

1. Be nominated by the faculty administration.

2. Be Reputable among his colleagues.

3. Spent at least one year's study successfully.

4. Submit his application form to a maximum of Monday 6/11/2023 at 12 p.m.

5. Have no sanction of dismissal or deprivation for any reason or transferred to a disciplinary board.

6. Get not less than good in the previous academic years or its equivalent GPA.

Criteria for selecting the ideal student at the two levels of the competition:

1. Good manners and appearance.

2. Ability to perform tasks.

3. Emotional balance and self-confidence.

4. Following up lectures and academic excellence.

5. Commitment and discipline in the academic and public community.

6. Distinguished in communication skills and ability to communicate with everyone.

7. The student shall not have won similar competitions before.

8- Has critical scientific thinking skills and ability to solve problems and creative thinking.

9. High level of public culture, with proficiency in a foreign language other than Arabic.

10. Participation in various student activities and has a role in the service of the university community and society.
