Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a decree to assign Prof. Dr. Maher Abdelfattah Mohamed Misbah, former president of Suez University, as a Secretary of the National Universities Council.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, sincerely congratulated Prof. Dr. Maher Misbah, wishing him lasting progress.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Maher Misbah was appointed to several leadership positions including the former President of Suez University and the former Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering of Suez Canal University. He has more than 30 scientific research published in numerous journals, periodicals, and international and local conferences. He also received the Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah Award in Water Studies.
