Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, SU president, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanjil, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Suez Engineering organized a visit to the Egyptian Space Station for the 3rd year students of the Mechanical division. The visit included the assembly center, satellite tests, and some laboratories. As well, Attendees also saw a presentation on what the satellites are and what types they are as well as some graduation projects for former engineering faculties students. 

On this occasion, SU president stated that the University's desire to activate such field visits in various locations reflects the importance of the practical application of the various purposes of science, which has a great impact on the quality of education received by our students. 

For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanjil, the dean of the faculty, stated that the great support provided by the president to the Faculty of Engineering reflects positively on the development of the spirit of work and perseverance of our students. Finally, the dean of the faculty also noted that the constant concern to provide learning opportunities in natural environments through such field visits is one of the most important means of advanced education strategies reflected in the form of distinct educational outputs.
